If you wish to return, or exchange an item, please email us at info@waterfilters.co.nz within 7 days of receiving your item to obtain a Return Authority Number (RNA). Please do not return your product until you have received this number.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning your item. We strongly advise you to use a tracked courier service.
Items that have any sign of use or damage will be returned to the customer and will not be eligible for return, refund or exchange.
All returns - whether for exchange, credit or refund - must be in unused, undamaged and saleable condition.
TechEngine Group Limited will not be liable in any way for loss, theft, or damage of the parcel during its transit back to us. We recommend you use a tracked courier service for returns.
You must obtain a Return Authorisation Number from our customer service department prior to sending your returns; items returned without appropriate documentation may be returned to sender.
Refunds will be issued for the cost of the item/s purchased and can only be processed via the original form of payment.
Please allow 14 business days from the date we receive your item/s to process any refunds or exchanges.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, please email us at info@waterfilters.co.nz within 24 hours of placing your order. In some instances, we may be unable to cancel online orders after they have been placed, as they are input automatically into our system for efficient processing and dispatch. However please see our returns policy for options once your order has arrived.
Faulty products
Please contact info@waterfilters.co.nz if you have received a faulty product to arrange for a return service.
We will provide a reimbursement in the event that products purchased are defective, provided the fault is not due to wear and tear and is a manufacturing fault. This will be determined on the return of the item and after assessment. Returns will not be honoured if the item has been mistreated.
TechEngine Group Limited is proud to work with only the best brands and standby the quality of our products and as such, we are proud to offer a warranty for systems and parts of 2 years from purchase, subject to approval and conditions.
TechEngine Group Limited will replace for free of charge (contingent on stock availability) any component (other than consumables) that has failed within 2 years of purchase, provided they have been correctly installed and comply with any conditions set at time of purchase.
Consumables are covered for manufacturing defects (a Return Authority should be instigated within x days or receipt of item) however due to the variances in water quality and usage amounts, their life is not guaranteed.
To make a warranty claim (or for after-sales support), please contact us via email or phone. All costs relating to a warranty claim must be approved prior to any work being carried out.
How to make a claim
Proof of purchase will be required for any warranty claims. Claims must be made within the specified years from the date of purchase. The warranty will only apply if the product was used and/or installed in accordance with the user guide and/or installation instructions.
The warranty given overwrites and exempts all other express or implied warranties and the manufacturer shall in no circumstance be held liable for damages consequential or otherwise or delays caused or faulty manufacturing except as excluded by law.

This warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies you have under law: Our goods come with guarantees which cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act. You are entitled to replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
